I might have a friend of mine selling one for cheap enough i'd say. It dosnt have any spoiler or anything like that. He used to have a b4 and sold it on for this but isint happy, really liked the 4wd. He dosnt drive the shite out of it and has only had it bout 2 or 3 months. I'll ask him about it if you liike?

would he want to get into a another b4? mines been mapped, custom down pipes, 4 pots, short shift, uprated clutch, full leather, sti exhaust, just serviced with mobil 1..only 50k on her..tyres only 2k km on them..new pads...NPG coilovers..front and rear cusco struts..basically fully sorted..autopage alarm and pager.....and of course isdc stickers

@PaulV4
She seems very hard core, Coilovers and a 2 way diff = uncomfortable on a dry road and un controllable and a wet road!
I'd sooner get yourself a nice older cheaper ps13 same engine and running gear just cheaper and a bit different!

He's gettin a diesel instead to save a bit on the running costs so thats why he's trading down.

Hi Paul,

I strongly recommend against the S15.

Mate of mine has a S14A, beautiful car and half the price for the same year and everything.

The S15 has revised bodywork, different turbo and a 6 speed box, but thats pretty much it. You'd be better off buying a S14A and sticking the extra 8g's in your pocket on mods. S14A turbo is rated to 320hp, more than you'd ever need in one of those, they start at 220hp and thats tough enough to put down on the road, in the wet its dangerous, once 2500rpm appears on the rev counter if you have any kind of turn on the wheel and someone so much as spit on the tarmac, the arse flies out!!

Sh1t myself the first time it happened when I was driving my mates but the slides are so controlable its unreal , little bit of opposite lock and feather the throttle and you can pretty much do what you want with it, near 50/50 weight distribution.
In the dry, it has better handling than my MY01 STI, thats with bog standard suspension on both cars, the 200 does be rolling but still so controlled and my mate often tears off from me around roundabouts, I end up going straight with understeer  but I cathc him on the straights :D

The 6 speed box on the 15 isn;t great either, they have been know to be a lot softer than the 5 speed in the 14, so if you put some extra power in it, be prepared to spend some money reconditioning it. The 14 needs an extra gear though when cruising on the motorway, I'd personnaly sooner spend the extra dough on petrol than a new box though.

All in all, your choise is really whether you willing to spend the extra 8 or 10 grand for the look of the 15, both cars are the same year, alot of the 14's come from Ingerland too and have just had lots of motorway miles on them, whereas who knows what some crazy Jap drifter been doing in the done up 15's. Seeing tie rods on the rear axel would set off alarm bells in my head too, so I'd try and go for one that hasn;t done 10k sideways miles!

Either way, they are aminal cars with superior handling and you won't see yourself go wrong buying one.

Try this, been clocked obviously ( look at the odo, those first 324 should really line up ) but then again what one hasn't, no mods so I wouldn;t think it hockeyed, get it for 9500, save €*000's

Good luck with the hunt

A good bit of advice as always there Cill

i think youv convinced me 17k is probably a bit much to spend on my first RWD car anyways

especilly when it will probably end up in someones garden wall

P.S could that car be clocked if it has a FSH would it not state the miles on each service that was done??

No worries Paul, happy to help

Didn't mean to put down the 15's either, just was considering one myself before until I looked at the difference in cost and spec between it and the 14. Went for a Scooby then anyway

I suppose it could be genuine miles on it with the FSH, it just seems suspiciously low miles for the year and car, typical S14's have 3 or 4 times that many miles for the year, they were a touring car in Europe unitl the drifting crowd started using them.
If your having a look at one and there is the log book, maybe see if the stamps are all from the same garage ( bad sign ) and see if they are faded over the years, not 10 fresh stamps with different dates! Also, check the usuals, seats, wheel, gear knob, stone chips etc.

Teh one my mate bought had only 50k miles on it and the turbo gasket was blown and bits of the under car plastics were missing, obvious crash and repair job but the guy selling it tried to ignore us when we pulled him up on it, even so, he took the car and we spent a week pulling the turbo off, fixing it all up, with a few extras of course :D I think the miles on his were put back as well but they are such a good engine and car in general, it drives perfect. My mate is now very happy with it regardless of its history!

Definitly the best RWD car you can buy ( my opinion of course... and my mates and anyone else whose ever driven one! )

PS - I know its up for a while but great avatar pic, top notch

thats why the s15 is so expensive there the most popular car for drifting with the irish d1 drivers and jap drivers any car thats drifting are big price :)
would you consider getting a nissan 180 sx with big spec :ponder: savage car
