Anyone know this black 03 STI in Celbridge Motors?

Yeah I thought so too Chris but the more I look at it im not too sure.....bit like Marmite, either hate it or love it :lol:

I rang the garage and they told me that the turbo is just after going. He said that the 03 models had problems with the turbos....I'm not too sure if this is true or not. Anybody know if 03 turbo's were crap at all?
 
Dave571 owned it and up until he fitted the front bumper and that rear skirt it was one of the best examples in the club.

It was very well looked after by him and I know the lad that bought it of him looked after it to. He was an evo man before hand.

It wouldn't take much to change her back toi standard and I'm sure Froggie as the front bumped from te 04 STi still. You could factor it into you bargaining form the seller. :thumbsup:
 
i think a member called quigo was last here with it IIRC..
looks well clean but front bumper has to go!!!
i wasnt aware any subaru gave turbo trouble.. :dontknow:
 
80k miles and the turbo is gone, something not right there.
 
I will always remember this car from the big waterford meet a few years back as it was
behind me on the trip down, it was a really nice looking blob eye and well looked after by
Dave at the time, i'm sure it has had a few owners since this picture was taken>>>>>

Just the one. He tried selling it a few times but couldn't.
 
That was the standard Subaru bumper with a Charge speed splitter added. It replaces the STi wing-lets but is very prone to braking thats why Dave changed it in the end.
 
Yeah it seems a bit odd that the turbo is gone :undecided:

It is a lot better with the standard bumper! It really is a beautiful car
