anyone know this car

€1080 to tax so €1 a day extra per year than the 2L cars

IMO and I'm biased because I have the same car as above

They are very good value for money.

Same mpg as 2.0 but extra torque makes for a lovely daily driver and very quick

My one, touch wood, has only blown a blub in the four years I have owned it
And my is driven daily and has done a track day or two

Now I have this strange image in my mind of you with a jam jar stuck to you dashboard and throwing a euro into it every day when you sit in lol
 
I have to agree with johnny here I know iv only just bought but im loving it the torque is brilliant for a car with 230 bhp
 
My jam jar was in the kitchen and if anyone left any change lying around, it was donated to the cause :icon_grin:
 
People are strange when it comes to car tax . I couldn't sell the 2.0 wagon And got told in most garages That they wouldn't be interested but come back for a straight deal :jack: and it was because of the high tax. It's a small market When your selling
 
Tax wouldn't bother me either as the value in the cars is so low it off sets that higher tax lovely car but as joe said most people wouldn't consider a 2.5 these days and people run screaming away from anything on the old tax system that's even 2.0

Case in point on the newer stuff the Sister just ordered a New Gti with performance pack and the tax ??? 280 euro for the year mentol

Lol, I haven't done that but that's a good idea

It really is the only thing I don't like about this car
