Anyone know this Legacy???

I looked at this car last December. Guy in Waterford had it. I didn't buy it, just looked rough. Front brakes were steel on steel and rust off the pads was sprayed all down the side of it. Had an odd alloy on it too... Just looked like it wasn't cared for. It disappeared from donedeal then and re appeared about 3 months ago. Same lad selling it again, this time for 1,500 euro. I rang him, he had a chase in it from the guards, car broke down mid chase and ended up with a smashed drivers window!!! Was sold then with running issues and minus a window.

In fairness this guy looks to have tidyed it up a lot. And when I looked at it the Waterford guy had all the paper work for the work done in 2011. It was a very quick car, lot quicker than any other one iv driven.

Thanks for that. Really doesn't look like its been treated like that from the pic's. Weird that the seller told you he took a chase from the guards!

Think he was just sick of it and wanted rid of it! And he needed to explain the broken drivers window!! It does look like this guy has spent a few quid on it though.
 
To be fair it was only a side window :thumbsup: least it wasnt wrapped around a pole and then sold on
 
So I went and viewed this today! Body and interior is good! Engine sounds ok but tracking is off a mile!!
Now I know this is an easy fix but would it have anything to do with the steering not being very responsive?? It doesn't seem to have the Subaru standard of handling! Surely something this bad must be more than a tracking issue?? :ponder2:
 
I wouldnt buy a car like this unless I had it fully checked out bye someone who knows there stuff

have it send over and up on a ramp and checked out iff your buying something

seriously though what ever car your your buying always get it checked out properly by a mechanic and if possible get it up on a lift for a look under it
