Anyone know this STi? (Galway)

Anyone at all?!

Going to Galway tomorrow afternoon from Cork and would like some info if possible. Cheers

Don't know the car but I wouldn't pay asking price for it,

7k tops IMO

Alright lads, going up to look at the sti above tomorrow evening and it's my first impreza so want it to go well. Just wanna find out if anyone knows the car and what to look out for when buying one?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Cheers lads!

I was into him about it, ppp cert can't be found and he says it's garaged and dry stored, check the usual, bring a jack, check the diffs for weeping, listen to them for knocking, find a car park to do a lock to lock circle in and put her under a bit of pressure and listen for knocking. bring a mechanic if you can

Ppp is a cert from prodrive (prodeive performance pack) to say the car had the mods done

Cheers lads! Apologies for being such a newbie but what exactly is a PPP cert?

The PPP, standars for Prodrove Performance Pack. If the seller says it's fitted it would be registered with Prodrive/dealer. You would need to do your homework on the car to ensure it's fitted OEM.

Just back there with 'stevewarrn'

What a dreamer! €8200 my bollox! You'd wanna be seriously blind to pay that.

Thought it would be immaculate. Not in the slightest.
Mechanically it wasn't too bad. Needed a drop link and maybe a few other small bits. Had no NCT or tax.
Didn't even have a disc holder in the car for the 3 pieces of paper you need displayed on the window so that says it all. Didn't see any service history. Was filthy inside and out.
Just a nightmare really. The fella selling it hasn't a clue about cars. He also said meet at 8. We were there at 7:45. Showed up at 9.

Bate from the 6 hour drive. Plenty more wrong. Paint was awful etc.
