Look at the dirt inside...and is that dirt or wear on the steering wheel?

I'd say sweetcakes is having panic attacks just looking at the dirt of it
 
i hope its dirt other wise id be questioning the mileage showing , 70000 odd miles wouldnt be that worn looking surely ?
 
Gonna check history as I know the garage it was bought from 2 years back. Interior is a bit manky... but nothing a good valet won't sort!

Wheel looks a little knackered alright... doesn't always depend on mileage... just depends on the filthy hands that have been on it over the last while!
 
Just had a mileage and history check done... all coming up legit! :thumbsup: No HPI, no damage... all seems clean! Except interior! :icon_rolleyes:

Gonna go have a look at it tomorrow.
 
As you say, if it runs well, then it can be cleaned... Looks like it was some mucker that owns it anyway, seats are filthy and you could just throw those tatty floor mats in the bin... Be interesting to see if the steering wheel is just covered in muck as well or if its really worn... I'll sell you back your type-r wheel if you need a new one anyway :icon_grin:

I would just worry what mechanical condition they have kept in in since buying it if they keep the interior in such condition.. Hopefully it runs smooth and its only a matter of a tidy up then.. Good luck boss :thumbsup:
 
Thanks Robbie... you better get your cleaning gear out if I get it.

I gather it's being mechanically kept well. Timing belt done 3000 miles ago and current owners wife has only done about 6000 miles in it since they bought it 18 months back.

Exterior is meant to be fairly clean... so fingers crossed!
 
650 kilometers... 100 euros of diesel.... all day saturday written off from working on project.... all coz the owner described it as an immaculate car needing nothing!!!

Bull :angry1: Clutch gone... leaking gearbox... whole PS needed painting... DS sill badly damaged... :snooty:
 
Dunno.... hate time wasters! Interior was pretty tatty too! :snooty: Door cards would have needed replacing! PS seat had 2 large burns in it! :smokin:
