Hi Lads.

Does any of you know if Legacy keys are chipped (2002 B4 Jap ones),
or can you just get a spare one cut in any key cutting shop.

Thanks lads

I got a spare cut in a normal key cutters, plain metal key, it was for a 2000 B4. Had an alarm fitted that operated central locking so no chip in key on my old one anyway.

Thanks lads.

As I bought the original 2002 legacy that I looked at yesterday from motoright, and only got 1 key with it. ( I know everyone advised me not too)
But I got it for 6000 euro and I sold my 97 GSR on donedeal for 2100 euro, so it cost me 4 grand to go up 5 years.

I paid 2 seperate very good mechanics, to have a look at it before I bought it, and both took it
for a 20 km test drive, and both said it was a 100% sound car, your man got it NCTd
yesterday and it flew through, dropped it straight down to Dublin Auto services in Kilbarrack
yesterday, for New tyres, new T-belt including Pulleys Tensioners and pump, full service with 60,000 km spark plugs, new pads all round, new rear diff oil, collecting tomorrow at 2, and then straight to get alarm fitted.
Will put up a few photos in the next week or so.

Total cost €6700 for everything, hopefully wont have to spend much on it
For the next year or two, fingers crossed.

Its standing him 4 after his own car sold so the work us 1700 is the way i read it. Either way :thumbsup:Best of luck with the car lad

Thanks lads.
I still havent got it yet, as garage having trouble getting correct genuine Subaru Water pump ( one with 3 outlets)
Subaru have sent 2 wrong ones out so far with the T-belt kits.
