Uk still be option so at 4k budget

i just did a fast calculation on a VRT site and thats what i got for a 03, still an option alright im not going to rush into it like i always do and buy the 1st one that comes up, i did that with my wagon and it took months to fix it up and it still needs a lot of work :icon_rolleyes:

danny i bought a 01 bug wagon in mid september jamie had put me onto it i got it for just under 3k they're a great car but ive never seen any go up for sale so as said you might be best off importing, the only thing is they're heavier and dont feell as quick but do feel so much better on the road in comparison to a classic the best thing to do is drive one maybe and decide then

the weight is not that important gordon its only 130 odd kilos heavier than the gc wagon but the shell is far stiffer so a better handling car and if like mine you fit spec c suspension and a remap with an exhaust etc the weight difference is not noticable and they are a great car with bags of practicality and cops dont even look at them for some reason ,very discreet

fair points there dec,it is a great car in every way and you're right they're discreet too and dont attract much attention

That one is already on Irish plates. You'd get her for closer to €3000 to as 02 WRX cars with similar mileage are goin for €3500. Have a chat with him when you have the money up. He's a Valentino Rossi fan to so chat away for a bit then make him an offer. Chances are he's looking to buy a bike for the summer.

All she'd need is a set of morrette head lights.

it's more of a comfort thing for the baby and the misses so the power dfference aint a big problem, i love my classic and wont be selling it so this is going to be a 2nd family car with the thoughts of the misses driving it full time after a while,

@Eric i have my eye on that one i really like it and it sounds like a good example and i hope it's still up for sale when i have the funds up, so if anyone wants to donate to the help danny get a new wagon foundation all you have to do is send all your painting and panel beating needs my way and for a small fee you will get your motor back 100% :multijump:

That wagon in Donedeal ad is a little on the pricey side. I'd be expecting a car that needs nothing at that price Danny... such as TB done and fresh-ish clutch etc. The wagon Gordon bought off my brother-in-law had the most detailed service history I've ever seen on a Subaru or any car for that matter... had 90 odd thousand miles and was a lot cheaper than that car.

I might be selling mine in the next month or two,

Building a new rallycross car for next season and the wagon hasnt turned a wheel since November.

When your going shopping give me a shout

danny if peters car is still ther when you have the funds i'd snap up the chance its a class wagon with the wider front wings
