Sounds like rim wax would do the job and some tire shine or back to black for the rubber. Any motor factor or halfords if you can't find armour all

Tried Rim wax. My wheels don't stay clean for even twenty miles after a wash so want to try this stuff.

tesco actually stocked armorall products eric , got dash and window cleaner wipes there before , great stuff i must say

I'll have a look there tomorrow Tommy although I have seen the dash wipes there before but never the rim protector spray.

Always found this type of stuff a costly way to keep your wheels clean
Buy autoglym super sheen or auto smart tango etc and spray and wipe clean your wheels

Buy a can of scotch guard. Dry the wheels with a soft cloth after washing the car then coat them in scotch guard.
