Nice,there would'nt want to be any hidden surprises underneath at that money,still a quick car even today,would give vti civic's,altezzas etc a good run
 
Just had a bit of a giggle remembering a chap I went to school with who had one... made the mistake back in '94 to put £100 on who would cover 8 miles quicker - him in his '91 GTE or me in my '82 UR Quattro. :whistle:

Not only did I take the £100 of him, he never made it past a mile or 4th gear... while I was still in 3rd...
Whoosssshhhhhh... terminal head-gasket failure and half his oil across his windscreen - so zero visibility at 1am doing about 60mph :eek7: :facepalm
He got it fixed only to break it up a few months later :hammerhead:

... I miss my old Quattro... :icon_headbang:
