Thers's no such thing as an RS4 Coupe maybe it was the S5 you saw. Its even better looking and next year will get the RS treatment too

That's because the A5 is the coupe version of the new A4 but it looks fantastic especially in full S5 trim.

A friend of mine let me drive his A5 3.0 tdi quattro two weeks ago. It has some go in her from 3rd gear onwards and the interior is the last word in luxury. I especially like the led drl's at the front. Most new audi's have them as an options now.

The RS5 will be based on the S5 but no engine specs have been confirmed yet. The S5 costs 100K so the RS5 will be quite a bit more expensive than the RS4

I read an m3 busting 525bhp v10

The RS5 should outhandle the RS4 easily as the A5 has a much better chassis than the A4 with the engine mass moved much closer to the bulkhead for better weight distribution unlike Audi'd of old which hand a lot of weight slung out ahead of the front axle.

Having said that I found my friends A5 3.0 a little nose heavy but the 3.0 tdi engine is quite heavy anyway and also I was just after driving my own car which is very light and has very sharp/pointy steering. I dont think I've ever said this before but I actually think a 520 bhp RS5 is just too much ponies. Its always seems Audi try to prove a point with a sledge hammer rather than a scalpel. I think an RS5 with the RS4's engine would be fine and just make the car out of aluminum and carbon kevlar to give it a decisive PTW advfantage over its most obvious rival the new M3. Just look at the new AMG C63. All brute force with no finesse. A Scooby would destroy it on any back road wet or dry. As they say power is nothing without control Mr Dork Spring Dick Technique.
