That's hilaroius... that's one of my good mates, Simon Ecklund, in the Caterham. He's some pilot... and some mechanic too.
He built the tubular chassis of that car from scratch himself and fully built it in a few months! That event is run there regularly... just down from Lambs Cross I think!
Yeh just up from lambs cross its a savage motor i met my old boss of 10 years ago at it and he told me to keep an eye out for it its his mate aswell(his names ray finnegan)
it got the biggest crowd out of all the cars was like people were waiting for him i tell you he dont hold back top notch car control
got a picture of my daughter in it now she wants me to get one.i wish.
my old boss is who got me into subarus he is big into rally etc he does co pilot for his mate in a mini and i find out he has being racing a forrester for the last two years
i love that sh** 10 years on and still loving his scoobys
Yeah I know Ray Finnegan... He used to co-pilot for another mate of mine Simon Evans in a savage quick classic mini!
Haven't seen Ecky compete in that new Caterham he recently built but i gather bought he and it are impressive! He's gotten the tastiest Mk2 Escort that is in concours condition!
Big Scooby head Ray too... probably wouldn't remember me now... it's being a while... but he'd remember my car, not a bother!
