B4 Fuel Filter

Hi lads, anyone know where the fuel filter is on a 00 legacy b4?, I opened the oval panel under the back seat on the passenger side but there was just a fuel level gauge there, thanks.

Drivers side under the back seat with the fuel pump afaik

As above, it's on the drivers side, in the tank with the fuel pump unfortunately.
Quite a messy job, the container that holds the filter will be full of fuel so be careful when twisting it off.
I found it very awkward to angle the assembly the right way to remove it from the tank too.
