My b4 heater is strange. 18 is cold, 18.5 is hot. It feels like a 5 degree jump, not .5. Anyone got any ideas?
I've done s search and found the post below which is my car from a previous owner so it's not a new issue but it is damn annoying.
The car had a new water pump, timing belt and tensioner fitted just over a month ago.

The second issue I have it the car can smell a bit, it's almost an oily smell. I've seen a few say rocker gaskets. It's only when it gets driven on the smell comes on and only when I slow back down.
