b4 rev counter

On my b4 when i start it the needle on the rev counter stays between 0 and 1.In the last few days i been looking at a few other b4s and the needle is always between 1 and 2 they the same yr as mine is there a problem with my car and if so anybody know what it is.

when warmed up and ticking over nicely mine sits at 500.....half way between 0 and 1000.......think that is the norm

When mine is cold it sits between 1 and 2 but as soon as it warms up it idles at about 600ish! is yours a cold start when it is between 0 and 1?

It a cold start.It always in same place even when warm the other b4s i been looking at they always between 1 and 2 with a cold start.

mine hover up around 1000 untill its warmed up then settles down to 5.......i thought when i fitted the new exhaust it might affect it but it hasnt changed since i got the car

when mine is cold it idles at about 2000rpm and drops to below 1000 rpm once warmed up

1000RPM warm idle seems abit high Dan.
