Any way of improving the lights on a gen1 legacy . Don't do much night driving but they are brutal Even. Stopped and bought 2 bulbs thinking it might improve them but still the same .
The glass is very blurry in the light itself but that's the way they were made . Not a fan of cheap 60euro hid kits Any other options out there :ponder:

I was only saying to Peter the other eve when looking back at your car that the house lights looked good

Are there has to be a better bulb osram nightbreaker are think good I recon get em in any motor factors

I've a set of blob oem hids there I'm sure with your skills u could make em fit

Osram Nightbreakers Joe, serious improvement when I put them in the road car. They are still halogen, 100% road legal but provide way more light. There are other in the motor factors too would do the same, not a huge amount cheaper though, all in around the same price, expect to pay €25-32 or thereabouts.

If the lenses themselves are faded, I'll do a job on the for you, if you drop them up

That's them alright Rob is it possible to polish the glass heart lights rob? Suppose it stands to reason that glass will polish up better than plastic..

Cheers rob the glass is ok it's just the way there made going to try the night breakers and see will it. Improve Them

Just make sure they are the nightbreakers Joe, 120% extra light will be plastered all over the box. The difference is the fiesta was absolutely unbelievable!!

Ciaran, sorry what do you mean by glass heart lights?

Oh right, ha ha :icon_lol:

Yes, you can polish the lenses, they are all a sort of plastic/perspex material and they polish up great. I don't think there are any headlights from the 80's on made of actual glass. But even if there is glass, you can polish that too, just a different method

Wow. Great job. How do you do that? I thought the glass front was sealed or glued to the back?

Could do with mine done but I guess you live miles away from me. I find changing bulbs on blobeye a nightmare - the front cluster is a bitch to get in and out and the clips and plastic tabs holding them in are easily broken and a bitch to get back in.
Just changed the small little corner parking lights to LED bulbs as the old bulbs used to go every 5 months and can't replace them without taking whole lot out.
