as above guys this is probably done to death at this stage, but looking for opinions,im thinking along the lines of a blitz or hayward and scott or have been toying with the idea of a race pipe back box from cobra or roger clark but they're mad money as you need the full system, what im really after is which is the best for power and noise as i like a loud scoob,it would be a full 3" from turbo back and fully decatted

i bought an afterburner vortex system from scoobyworld in uk for my bugeye. great system and awesome sound. i now have it on my blob sti. :049:

what look are you after gordon

is it a jap look or rally/road look

Best quality and performance is milltek.. but quite pricey..

Loudest is a toss up between blitz and the 3" H&S system (4.5" tail).. blitz is known to have resonance issues which will reduce power compared to other systems.

What is your budget?

@ duffman when you say rally /road look is that like a race pipe style back box i like the jap look but the race pipe is a cool touch as well,
@ andy i want noise but also want good powerfrom an exhaust
@sweetcakes i like the look of hayward systems and i think they do a race pipe as well,my budget should stretch for a hayward and scott but will be after xmas
@ mac mac kakimoto are class but where do you get them i never seen them for sale only the likes of nengun

I have heard the Blitz doesn't produce as much power because of the noise it makes. Trade off I guess. But still probably only talking 2 or 3 BHP. Wont be noticeable under your right foot.

Have to agree with Mac Mac
Kakimoto all the way, fairly hard to find but when ya get 1 it's definitely worth the effort!

JP lost about 20bhp in his RA when he switched to a blitz. Granted that may be extreme because of the power he was running but he went from about 406 to 383 or something like that. But I would still expect to drop a considerable amount in the 300+ range over

im thinking the hayward system might be the best option but i like the idea of a race pipe back box,was thinking of the team ice from roger clark but you have to buy the whole system but cobra do a race pipe and also hayward and scott

I have his system
on my car
he had before the blitz
must be al right so

Would You modify Your old Magnex if You still Had it ?
Seriously , are You looking for sound like the magnex or more? Buddy Club?

kevin i want more sound but also good power gains,i always thought the magnex was too quiet even when decatted,im thinking hayward and scott but also the cobra exhausts seem to be decent
