best exhaust for an bugeye

we put a blitz nur spec r on our bugeye during the summer, loud wasnt the word. You would get a banging headache after about 20mins and your ears would be ringing so i wouldnt suggest that. Id prob go for H and S or milket. if you want power and noise
 
its got to be a fujitsubo legalis r setup - beautiful exhausts. I've owned 2 previous on 2 non-subarus, and they are lovely, and not loud ! fantastic welding on them, if you're into that sort of thing :hammerhead:
 
Blitz system are very hard to come by second hand never mind just the back box. Try the likes of japaneseperformanceparts.co.uk I know they have a good lot of second hand exhausts for subarus and if u find one for a classic it will fit the bugeye as that's what we had on ours

My advice, if i was you gordon, is spend the extra now and get a full 3" system. You could get a full 3"system from H&S for the same price as the blitz cat back, which is still only 2.5". From my own experience, its something you'llwant eventually anyway so might as well get it now and save yourself money in the long run :smile:

ye cheers robbie thats what im thinking the hayward system been a 3" is the better option and been in around the same price as the blitz as well
 
i have decat uppipe ,hayward and scott bellmouth downpipe which deletes both downpipe cat and intermediate pipe cat ,and a cat back blitz nur spec r exhaust and in my opinion it is the nicest sound possible from a scooby real raspy and powerfull sound even if you lose a couple of horse power so what its not like your building a time attack car where you want absolute horsepower and with the bung in they are grand on a drive if ya want take mine for a spin and see what ya think :thumbsup:
 
nice one for that dec i might just take ya up on that,i'll be getting it mapped in the new year at some stage but want a decent system on it
 
prodrive back box or magnex oval back box all the way. Not into big noise but do love the rumble. :subaru:
 
always liked the look of the magnex but with it only been 2.5" and probably having a lot of baffle in the box it was never loud enough even with a decat,mind made up now cat back hayward i think is the way to go :icon_biggrin:
