Best places to source Gearboxes??

just wondering how the shorter ratios will effect the torque spread..you might have to go parrallel with the turbos

People i've talked to havent mentioned anything about it, but the turbos run parallel after the changeover so dont see a difference if you are staying at high revs while accelerating???

the 5 speed clutch and flywheel will still fit and work fine with the 6 speed box .

Well, thats great news.. one less expense...

cant see it being a problem either...should be good to have a 6th always thought it could use it for motorways..I didnt know the gearboxes where a weak point..wahst the signs of it going?

It started barely noticeable in reverse, it was a kind of clunking sound and the car hesitates every time it clunks... The I drove home from my girlfriends house a couple of days later, and putt on full lock to pull up the driveway and the barely wanted to move at all... It only ever happens after the car has been driven for about 45 minutes... When i get up in the morning now, the car will drive absolutely perfect... i dont know whats causing it to act that way
