Bits for '03 BE5 B4

Cheers Mark, still have it on the car actually. I got it with a decat downpipe, and centre section direct from H&S. Its the 3.5nich tailpipe version. Gimme a shout if you're interested

The fuel pump will be 90 euro at the sale / rolling road day at the weekend.

The Symsports downpipes brand new are 600 euro for the twin downpipes.

Looks like i'll have to hold off for a while on the Stage 1 tune so, just the map for the moment!
Thanks for getting back Nick

Well guys, got the map on Saturday... the suspense is killing me!!

Getting a decat downpipe fitted on Sat morning but still looking for a few bits'n'pieces...
-7B plugs
-panel filter
-fuelpump

If anyone knows of any of the above flying round, giz a shout.

Cheers.

I was speaking to a mate of mine about putting a fuel pump in a BE5 recently and after doing some research I found there was no real need to change the pump on them unless your going mad high BHP (over 400) the standard pump is plenty and being a 03 its not an old pump like the classic Imprezas.

Personally I'd save your money on that end unless you have your heart set on changing the pump

... yea you're not the first person to say that alright. I might leave it for the time being, sure I can always fit one post map sometime.

On the panel filter front, wud a K&N filter from a V3 STI fit the legacy? Got a used one at home with about 1k on it.

Cheers.

Interesting, I was told when mapping the walbro was essential

Standard pump is still putting out serious pressure, (over 5 BAR AFAIK) The walbro is a little higher but with a much better LPH rate, either way the car only needs 2.6 to 3.0 BAR MAX anything over that is returned to the tank, so no matter what pump is in it wont effect the map

Air flow will make a big difference to your map, I would suggest you change the original panel filter for some form of induction filter kit. I'm not sure that the filter you have will work but you can always try it and see, Or speak to one of the traders that sells them and they'll tell you if it'll fit

Its all about getting the air in and out quicker, so induction kit and exhaust are where you'll see power gains. Replacing the exhaust after the map will effect the map

Ok, got pretty much everything sorted... just the plugs needed now. Can y'all let me know if ye come across some 7b's?

Thanks again guys :new_2gunsfiring_v1:

Ring any of the traders mate, think they all stock them or worst case then can get them fairly quick
