Sunday Drivers
any one else have trouble with black ice today i skidded hit a kerb and broke the wish bone on the car only spent a few quid getting the clutch and a few other bits done yesterdayand now this happens :icon_cry:

Nearly killed myself a couple of times this morning... Not in the subaru though, wouldnt take the subaru out in these conditions for fear of some bumbandit crashing into me..

i didnt , but the lads who are travelling from fermoy to clonmel for work , said they had a rather interesting spin to work this morning ..

slipping and sliding ,and a few even managed a spin or two

Sorry to hear that man :icon_sad:

Was terrible out my way last week but seem ok the last few days but still cant drive at nornal speed :angry1:

is it still bad out??
i feel like i have been locked away for ages....
aint really been out this week at all!!! cant wait to get out in the car again... really hope it has cleared up by the time its sorted tho...

It was madness this morning :cuckoo:
I left for the big smoke at 6am and was tipping along nicely the roads look a bit on the dodgy side around Rathnew so i eased off the speed
got to Ashford and there were cars everywhere and facing every angle then more of the same at Newtown, Glen of the Downs, Kilmac and Bray :icon_omg: never seen the likes of it.
we were coming up to traffic lights and Foxrock and everyones hazards were coming on, there was a woman in a BMW lighting up the rear wheels she had'nt got a clue cars were passing down the hardshoulder and too her right, we decieded to get her moving before she got rear ended so two guys that were with me jumped out to give her a push and a quick lession on how her heavy right foot wasn't going to work and to calm down a bit :icon_rolleyes: not so much as a thank you for getting her out of harms way

i have come to expect no thanks from the people i help on the road every day.....

I have gone out of my way on a number of occasions to the point if someone done it for me i would make it worth their while and give them a few quid....
not so much as a cheers or a wave or any acknowledgment or nothin......
really really gets to me some times.....

Patients costs nothing i know
but manners costs less and pays so so much more
