I've never done that, but I have sold scoobies for more than I paid *but less than I had in it*

I paid a grand for a 91' Legacy Turbo 5spd... Upgrades in the neighborhood of $6k and sold it four years later for $3,500 with 190,000 miles on it before I moved here...
