Just to be sure Aaron,thats an "r" with the baffle which would be a 3" inlet.
The "r" and "s" back boxes have different internals that is why the "s" is quieter and needs no baffle. :thumbsup:

S and R have same boxes. i confirmed this with blitz.
S tappers to 2.5" bolt onto the stock resonator (centre pipe). R comes with full length which then tappers to 2.5

I already have my resonator removed , so should be more or less on the same level as the R, only difference will be my centre pipe will be 2.5" instead of 3"

If you buy the S new it does not come with a bung, this one has been bought afterwards and added. so bonus for me.

"All Blitz Nur Spec back boxes conform to the Japanese JASMA regulations. This means that all back boxes will give a noise below 96db, but most Blitz boxes give between 92-96db on a standard car."

I'd say those are figures with the bung in, mine certainly is a lot louder

Are you planning to drive with the bung in all the time? My car hates it due to the restriction I presume

Totally different internals in the two as confirmed by blitz themselfs and the fact that i performed an autopsy on
an "s" to confirm.The "s" has built in bung (like the removable "r" one) which is not in the "r",if that makes sense :thumbsup:

They said bung is removeable and you can see it is bolted in, in the photos nut top and bottom and its tappered to 2.5".

Guess we see when it arrives will know for sure what it is....
Its my first time ordering something this serious for the car, little worried now hope it all works out.
Worse case is thats its the R and its a 3" flange and i just need to get the centre pipe to match.

Well the Blitz arrived, its a 3" tapered to a 2.5" with a removable bung.
Gonna fit it tonight :dance:

Cant get the bloody bolts open, well tight they are.. say I will have to leave it in to be done.

Spray them big time with wd40
Loads off it
And go at it again tomorrow

Added a few more sprays of gt7 left it an hr and used one of these extendable wrenchs and it popped. Bolts are fine. Need a new gasket as old one dont look the best and will get new bolts aswell.

Fook me its loud... herself and a friend really like it nice deep sound off it. With bung in its grand but rattles abit so will need to sort that out too for when I put it in for the long trips.

Gonna take awhile to get use too it.

there is a small leak i think, the gasket wasn't great anyways, new one should be here in a few days.
You can hear it in the exhaust and when you put your hand under the the link.

oh i like the pops that come off it here and there :dance:
