thinking of getting a blitz nur spec r for my leggy but there mental money .. does anyone have a sound clip that might sway me :thumbsup:

nickys exhaust isn't a blitz mark, although it is a savage sound it wouldn't sound the same on a b4 coz of the twin scroll turbo on the spec c, and think it might have equal length headers too (although could be wrong about the last part)

thought "nic spec c" had a blitz on his car myself :dontknow: Had one on my classic Impreza nice and loud, going to get one for my blob eye as soon as they come back into stock.

Think you're right mate, was confusing it with mick spec c's, think he has a full milltek on his, nicky's is a blitz alright. But would still sound different coz of the twin scroll :icon_headbang:

I have one on my Impreza. Be warned they are very loud. They set off any sensitive car alarm, and after a decent drive (Cork to Dublin etc) your ears will be ringing after it.
It's also very hard to use your phone (due to noise) when in the car.

All depends on distances you drive - short spins it's ok - long spins I'd avoid one.

nic had to get a silencer made for the back box to reduce noise.....
garda where giving him or his mate a bit of sh*t bout the noise...
anything bove 80 decibells is illegal i think nic said.

They are as load as hell. Had something simular on my car when I bought it. Set off car alarms. Left me deff on my first drive. The misses always knew when I was leaving my house to come to hers. I just couldn't live with it.

As i said though it sounded the same but mine wasn't blitz, but the blitz is the same.

that japspeed i have up for sale was very loud, together with the downpipe it would wake the dead, used to drive into pavillions multy story just to set off car alarms :lol: :lol: i even set of a house alarm one day when i just pulled up for a mo :roll:

Nur spec's fail mondello noise limit tests!
I have full miltek system and that's not to bad!
Listen for one you like then track down the owner and ask what type it is!

Yeah as Mark said i had to get a silencer because the law enforcers down our way have a handy new gaget, :new_2gunsfiring_v1:
all the shop owners on the main street pooled together to buy them a db meter because of the young micra and sh1tvic drivers with broken or no exhausts melting the tarmack off the street :angry1:
they measure it by standing "around 2 meters away" (very sientific) then hold the rpm @ 3k for ten seconds, the legal limit is 74db but you wont get shot for anything up to 80db, mine was slightly over @88.9db :icon_grin: stick the silencer in heading into town and take her out when needed :icon_headbang: :subaru:.

I find the bung (silencer) chokes mine when I put it in. It rattles a lot also.
Just have to do without it and hope I'm not in high enough revs and spotted by guards.

are you talking about the catback system without a decat downpipe, i thought catback systems wouldnt be that loud and all road legal :ponder:

No exhaust is read legal in Ireland except for the standard one... :wall:

the system is only available from diff back on a bE5 ... so i hope its not going to be too loud . i,ll soon find out , it'll be on my door wednesday .

Tommy555 has an sti back box and he was just under at 72db, also i heard of a civic driver from the town with a completely standard exhaust was over the limit, so its hard to tell how accurate it is :dontknow:
