I've been toying with this for a couple of years now. Through a fair bit of research I found the code for the fabric but the only place I could source it was in USA. It's expensive and with shipping and customs it was very fucking expensive. Anyway, my nephew does headliners and was talking to him and gave him details and he got it through his supplier. I was a bit skeptical, but ordered 1 linear metre to have enough to do the two seats bases .
It arrived today and I picked it up.
It's absolutely gorgeous
It looks bang on in the pics, but to my eyes it's very slightly brighter,or more vibrant than the seats, however the seats are over 20 years old and I haven't washed them properly ( Which I'm going to do next weekend,as have a upholstery cleaner courtesy of parkside)& I would guess that when there washed properly it would be pretty perfect. The fabric is perforated and backed. I have no issues with doing them myself, but the brother in law supplies a bloke in clondalkin with fabric, so he's going to ask him if he's willing to do them for me.
