BMW power Loss

Was driving earlier today and the car had a complete loss in power. Struggles in all the gears now. No smoke out of the exhaust or any oil mixing anywhere. Dont think it is the turbo but not really sure what it is. Would the IC have anything to do with this? Is a 07 BMW 320d. Any ideas would be gratefully appreciated.

could be down to the afm , had same problem with a tdi caddy , all power just vanished , changed the air flow metre and was like new again

Check the fuel filter... Diesel in Ireland is not of the highest quality... I remember having the same problem in my Merc.. I changed the fuel filter and it started running as new.
U wouldn't believe how the old Fuel filter looked like

As above, A good full service and a good common sence look around may sort it!
Ciaran rs/ra is a BMW specialist mechanic, worth giving him a shout!
