We all know the traffic light situation but I was out for a spin with the misses tonight after looking at hopefuly our new house  (she was driving in her car) going around a nice country road not far from where we live all a sudden an colt with no front bumper comes tearing around the corner, we end up in the ditch to avoid a head on and another red civic behind him the drivers were no older then 18, and the civic had a female passanger in the rear who was covering her eyes with her hands...WTF is wrong with these people 18:30 on a friday evening tearing around roads wide enough for one car, even the locals do 20 mph and beep at the corners and these muppets doing 40 - 50...man next purchase 2k pajero everyday car..see who pulls in then

Hey Johnny,

Unfortunately we can never change the attitude of some people... BUT they eventually will be caught - either by the law or by God :(

Alan.

thank god johnny that none of YOUR family were injured.
i can admit that i love ta hang the tail on a JUNCTION where i can see clearly but this thing of racing is stupid.
its nearly always done in clapped out shitboxes and they need the sh*t hammered out of them.(the people)

unfortunately its going to be like that for a while. just last night me and my mate were buzzing around celblock at around 2 am last, we were at a set of traffic lights, my mates car we were in was a 1.3 lancer done exactly like an Evo 4 (the 1.threvo or the make-balievo), looks the balls, but a starlet was behind us, as soon as the lights went green you could here the starlet wheel spin and go out around, we were only driving at a normal speed, but there was a car coming towards him, he only got in barely! fecking tosser

That's the problem lads, only one of two tarnish the scene for all the respectable lads.
@ JohnnyB, I've the truck- only one winner in that battle :D Saw a lad in a golf coming towards me on a back road( could see over the hedge) I stopped and pulled in, and he came around flying around the bend and put it in the ditch. Then the tosser accused me of running him off the road!! Took out the tacho and showed him I was stopped at the time and to fook off and learn how to drive  w****r.
Cheers
John

I'd say this has happenined nearly everyone at some stage.. I think they only wasy to stop this is if and when it happens report them.. a good telling off from a cop might do them the world of good.. well some of them anyway ..

@ John M
Good Idea lad I'll see if I can borrow a truck from work with a crain on the back to pull them out of the ditch, by the head
bullbars vs civic front bumper :ponder:

went home after my last posts and i wasthinkin about thisthread.it was somethin p1 alan said.now :noway: hold on alan, this is by no means an attack but these muppets,i dont think will be caught by the law.night time racing i think is a popular passtime and i dont think the law could be bothered about it.not near my home anyway.the only driving offences ya read about are the usual ones.drinking tax etc.i could go on but i think ye get it.again this is not an attack just my point on something that has been said previously.

:ponder: :dunno:

I wasn't talking about night time racing :ponder:
I was talking about people driving like lunatics at 6.30 in the evening.... and they most likely will be caught by God... the unfortunate thing is that they will prob take some innocent people with them

Alan.

i should have said anytime racing.its one thing that really gets me going

i have a cousin with a mk3 1600 escort and cherishes it like anything.he is 18

i guess its just down to the person.by no means was it an attack.its just the subject that makes me mad

the very unfortunate thing is that it is the johnnybgoode that will be taken when these scumbags will live to do it again

when have ya ever switched on the news ta see people being cut out of a car thats worth more than e5000.

thats true

:evil:the only time these f&*kwits will stop drivin like complete gobshites is when they actually get to own a car thats worth a few quid..!! if they had a motor of some value (like our good selves in the isdc and beyond..!!) they might be worried about crashin it and havin to fork out a fortune to have it fixed. until then my friends the only thing to do is keep your eyes peeled and report them everytime, theres nothing a copper hates more than someone constantly ringin them up complaining about something, then he'll go do something about it..!! safe drivin folks.......... :)

My latest crash on the M50 this year....

I was driving up the M50 beside the new construction site (just before the N7 junction) with my 13 year old daughter and it was raining. I had a silver ford focus behind me. It was the usual stop and go on a Saturday afternoon.

Suddenly I heard a engine reving up and a loud BUMP, BUMP, BUMP, BUMP. The final bump was when the Focus hit my car. I was pushed forward about 2 meters.

There was a black 94 Corolla who hit a blue 02 Peugeot 206 and pushed him onto the Focus. Then he scrached along the Peugoet between the 206 and the guard rail and hit the Focus again with such a force, that the Focus has pushed me roughly 2 meters forward.

From outside there was not much to see at my car, but the estimate was about €1600.- (Bumper bent, and both mounts broken)

The driver in the Corolla was an 18 year old learner and had no insurance. He stated, that he had hit the brakes completely down when he saw the tailback but his car wouldn't slow down rather to accelerate. I said to him:" You mupped pushed the accelerator instead of the brakes! And by the way, what the hack are you doing on a motorway with your L-plate?"

The girl from the 206 had a whiplash.

I called the guards and the guy has been arrested on the spot. The rest was insurance and garage time wasting crap.

I can say, that fortunately no one got really hurt and my doughter was fine as well. We just had a slight shock and when I went home I was still shaking.
I just thought what could happen if such a jerk meets you in the night time on a country road.... Better not think about it....

Here are some pictures....
Enjoy the show.... Axel

The Focus held up well

I always hated Ford ;)
But in this case I thank Ford to build a Focus to keep the main damage away from me :D
