Breakers

Hi folks,

I'm looking to sell my 99 UK Turbo Wagon as i'm heading off travelling round the world. It's got about 78k miles and comes with some service history, I bought it for e1800. The thing is though that it failed the NCT on a number of airbag faults which looks like it could cost almost as much as the car's worth to get fixed, so no real point getting that done and I don't want to be dishonest to a prospective buyer.

Does anyone know if any of the breakers would buy it from me at a reduced price or of any other alternatives I might have?

I have attached the link from a previous post of mine listing the faults registered on the attachment. https://isdc.ie/forum/threads/21515/

Cheers

Pull the bulb on the abs light and throw it in for the test again, whats the fault is it the sensor on the abs squab on the steering column? If so its a handy enough fix, had this before. They cant fail you if theres no bags in it as another option, pull the bags out stick in aftermarket wheel, and blank up passenger bag with bit of plating, and throw in a few gauges to take the dirty look off it. Bit of a bodge cheap fix, but it's better than having to break it.

Well if your taking requests can I ask that you arrive next in Berties Tough Mac Impreza or Nesbitts P2000 Cuisine de France car please :icon_biggrin:
