After the latest revelation, the U.S. department of finance admitted, that the NASA became almsot bankrupt after the latest disastrous crash of the Space Shuttle.
The Space Shuttle Columbia disaster occurred on February 1, 2003, when the Space Shuttle Columbia disintegrated over Texas during re-entry into the Earth's atmosphere, with the loss of all seven crew members, shortly before it was scheduled to conclude its 28th mission, STS-107. Since then the NASA wasn't able to catch on and many customers changed their mind and went to the ESA (European Space Agency) to take the satelites to the orbit.
Now they are looking for alternative finance sources in the brought public.
A top secret picture slipped out from the NASA head office with a picture from the new Space Shuttle.
From that picture we can imagine, what we might expect soon:
- Drive-in on the Moon (Or a McSaturn)
- Shell Fuel Station for space ships in Orbit
- Phone calls to mars for lo-call rates
- Windows Mercury 2010
- Batterie powered aviation (to name just a few)
