I agree with Dec and Duffman , it is a driver`s car.
There is a thread " daily usage" , show`s most of Us wouldn`t keep the subaru as a daily driver. This car could be an option.
I don`t know much about new car`s cost ( nor really a potential buyer) but how is the competition in this segment? What cars are on the market similar and how much they cost?

i think it will be a savage little car for a couple of reasons

1.its reportedly only 1200 odd kilos so lighter than a type r
2. it has near 50 /50 weight distribution so it will be a great handling car
3.has reasonable mpg
4.lowish road tax compared to sti
5.it will be sold worldwide so give it six months and there will be a raft of tuning goodies available, because of the layout it will be a drift car so that will create a big following to drive the tuning scene even more i bet there will be superchargers and turbo conversions within the first year so you could be looking at a 350-400 bhp rear drive coupe a little bigger than an mx-5 .im sorry traditional scoobie it may not be but i would definitely have one all day long

thats just my two cents on the matter :subaru: :subaru:

TRD already have a supercharger option for the toyota version, subaru should be offering an Sti version with a turbo in a couple of years

I suspect there will be a 1.6L turbo version with 250 before long. Then all it needs is AWD and a turbo upgrade to get back in WRC.
