Motor tax up 9.5% again, thats 19% increase in 2 years for fcuk all improvement in roads :angry1:
 
it doesnt go into the roads. Thats their pay increases covered.
 
crazy increase on petrol , really forcing people to go down the diesel route
i do about 400 miles a week , costing me a fortune

The Minister announced that an income levy of 1% on all incomes up to just over €100,000 a year would be introduced. The levy will be 2% above this.
 
8 cent a litre for 10,000 miles at about 25mpg = about 260 euro a year.

1% levy on what you earn for PAYE = more than that for the majority of people I'd say!
