bug sti v b4

Sunday Drivers
Just wondering any lads on here that have had both a sti and b4 what did they prefare? like the b4 is a nice cruiser and confertable and loads of space but on the other side the performance of the sti is better any input as i cant decide 50/50 at the min

see i dont know i tend to drift from big german cars with lots of space but get bored with lack of power and buy somthing jap that goes quick then get pissed of driving a bone rattler so im just wondering long term does a impreza fit both criteria or the b4 ?

B4 sounds like it would be best of both worlds for you, nice and big with the power to go with it. Bit slower than the impreza due to the extra weight but there's plenty of more power available with a good remap. You should try and get a spin in each before you decide

well a b4 is like a 530 beemer, a bit of poke but will turn like the titanic

bugeye on standard suspension will be no bone breaker with plenty of power and alot easier to tune than a b4 in the long run and will not feel like a lowered honda

im edgeing towards the impreza because i know i will be looking at imprezas in my b4 wishing i had more power handling and end up selling the b4 who needs electric seats

STi is quicker and alot harder to insure, fuel consumption not a huge difference, no difference in tax,
Sti more expensive to buy, no difference in maintanance.
Its up to what you want from the car.
I have my B4 over 2 years now and have no intention of changing it as its exactly what i needed from a car without breaking the bank at the time.

Exactly how I felt when I was buying

spot on there.

I went from a type R to a B4 and regretted every minute I owned it. Dont know what I was thinking. Back in a type R now.

@ Andy, fine arse!

B4 with all the whiteline gear and good geometry would be a great handler, they are more tail happy than imprezas!
Impreza will be a bit quicker,
The main difference is the image, Leggy is a bit more grown up, the impreza can be perceived as being a bit boy-racery :dontknow:

Dan

Hey cheers for the compliment I've always wanted to be seen as a boy racer :beerbang:
I'm 42 drivin a JDM buyeye STI and I have to say its pure class.
As for handling she's right at home mixin it up over the Wicklow mountains.

Cheers, P.

Ive a b4 rsk at the mo and couldnt fault it for power and comfort, impreza is a bit more hardcore and after having both id like the b4 from day to day and impreza for the weekend, both fantastic cars, once theres a subaru badge on the bonnet you cant go wrong :subaru:

Does a newage impreza have more legroom than a B4?,if not i can stop dreaming about an impreza as any longer than 45mins in the B4 & my legs were killing me!....CRAMP
