Bugeye ignition barrell with key/s

Tryin different sources as well but no harm to ask . I'm new here and new owner of my dreamy subaru but need some work so lets start before will be to late.
Already had problem with it. Couldn't even get key in to ignition :/

Is it the wrong key or broke in it

No... Key was working fine. Went of the car and when came back could put it in ignition. Had to take all apart and look like someone was messing with it before so had same problem but did sort it out.
Well it looks like I will have to do this.

bring ignition barell into local locksmith ,possible repair ? if not ,breakers

Just came to work and happen again. Not a chance to put key in to ignition ????

possibly one of the wafers slipping/damaged or a spring ?


dont force it as you may do more damage , gently gently , wiggle wiggle , and lube her up with a lil wd40 .

Took it of and went 4 reconditioning. Hope will sort it out.
