jap buyeye wrx's, any info on them? anythin differ from the uk's? do they need to be mapped? do they all come with 4 pots? 5 speed?

Not sure of the differences between Jap and UK,
Japs are designed to run on 102 ron fuel but UK/Irish are mapped for Our fuel!
Either way, if you use Maxol E5 and a bit of NF octane booster you should be grand untill you go modding, then she'll need mapping anyway!
All Bug WRX's have 4 pots on the front and twin pot on the back, (same as the classic Type R)
And all have 5 speed gearboxes, I think maybe the jap has a shorter ratio box then the UK/Irish cars!

Thats true Ross but also based on different fueling.

As Above, run it on E5 all the time. Maybe stick in a Knocklink to keep an eye on and signs of Det
