Busy day today with a few mods,

Octane Boostaholics
Had a busy old day today, Got a nutbox sent over and new silicone Vac hoses, Saved me having to mess with the solenoids myself, Disconnected my old one and started on the vac lines around the engine bay.

I only had to switch over the one solenoid as they are specific to each car, it is the one in the middle of the circle of string


Then started on the vac hoses, Anthing Blue is new except for the samco hoses,

When i finni the boost wasnt right, then had to go back over all pipes i'd taken out to find the restrictor pill i forgot :hammerhead:

Quite happy with how it turned out,
Now not fully finni, as 2 of vac lines go into back of intercooler and didn't have time ti take that off, and also 2 lines inside the passanger wing, and didn't have time to take down the wheel arch, but still happy with all i've done so far................
To think i nearly sold her :icon_grin:
 
Actually need to put a more recent pic up as there is more done than that, and allot that you cant see as its fairly down in the engine,


By the way, where do you get that carbon wrap vinal thing, thinking of doing my engine cover,
Seen dan using it and it looks really well. :thumbsup:

Mine's always not right, still reading 0.5 and 0.7,
i AM NOW PRESUMING that i have always been missing a restrictor all along,see wat happend when i forgot the 1, Have noticed the power is there much sharper now though,
I'd say when i look at the turbo lines under the intercooler, i may find that the restrictor is missing from one of the lines.

There is only 1 other restrictor pill afaik John and its near the T-pipe going to the primary turbo (pass side)

Rest of the engine needs some vinyl & rubber care to make the black plastic and rubber pipes as shiny as the blue silicone :1poke: :icon_grin:

I'll know anyway in a few days, i'm going to do that with all the black rubber and plastic,
Where do you get that carbon wrap that altezza dan uses, looks the job, going to do my engine cover me thinks!!
