Buying Lagacy b4

Hello. I was looking through the forum but didn't find anything.

After a short break from Subaru I'm planing to buy Legacy b4.

As my WRX gave me a bit of trouble id like to find out what to look for buying Legacy. What mileage does engine lasts. Is there any week spots to look for.

Any tips will be highly appreciated. Also if You guys know any Legacy that's worth a look pleas let me know.

Look for one thats been mapped for a while and double check with the mapper who's quoted as mapping it to ensure they actually did it. The engines are great if looked after but like everything, it depends on how its been treated in the past.

What area of the country are you in? I'd recommend that if you find a car you like, get a good mechanic to have a look at it for you. There are plenty of guys in the traders section that would do it for you, ideally getting it to their garage and up on a ramp to check it over properly.
make sure it boost properly and there is good pull up the rev range to ensure no issues with the secondary turbo changeover.
 
As robbie says above :thumbsup: and have a look in the for sale section theres a few. There generally a solid enough car in fairness. KielyB4 had his for sale a while back its a great spec, has a few nice mods but not sure if its still for sale tough. Best of luck anyways :thumbsup:
 
Thanks very much. Im in Kilkenny city, dont think there is anybody who knows subarus in my area. I might look for one close to some garage from traders section to get it properly checked.

Is mileage arround 100/120k mls a lot for these cars?

Not really, depends on year, works done and owner :thumbsup:
