Can I drive with this broken?

Right, I think I know what they did. If the original line was number 10 then it goes into the wing and connects to one end of the wastegate control solenoid.
The hose connector on the solenoid is a large diameter one and after a short length of pipe, there is a reducer that connects to the small diameter vacuum tube. They must have just connected the new larger diameter line (maybe 6mm ?) straight onto the solenoid and then onto the new T-piece.
Maybe the larger diameter tube is effecting the ability of the solenoid to control the wastegate :dontknow: There would be a different volume of air in the new line compared to the old one. :ponder2: Wait and see what the traders say, they will probably know whether the vacuum line size is important or not.
Hard to know if it's boosting correctly without a boost gauge.
But surely there is a part number for the T-piece, there's part numbers for little feckin trim clips! so why not one for that! :ponder2:

Jesus you're in awful hardship, thought one of the washer T-pieces would have done the trick.

Suppose its too fecked up at this stage to try a "McGyver job" on it.

thats exactly what they have done.
