Car fob doesn't always work

I've been advised to go to a dealer. The advice seems to be to get a new remote and program it in. Paul emailed a long set of instructions on how to program the remote manually but it is very long and complicated. A dealer can do it a lot easier with a computer.

I had thought he told me the problem is in the car and not the remote so maybe i will get back to him to clarify that, but he did tell me from the start that it was something i should go to a dealer about so that might be the best thing.

Going to Burkes in Ballinrobe on Monday. Hopefully, they'll throw some light on it.

Actually gettin worse by the day. Doesnt work any morning now, but it sometimes works during the day.

Went down to JJ Burke's in Ballinrobe this morning.
An hour and a half and €57 later they had replaced the batteries in the two fobs and reprogrammed the keys.
The fob worked at the garage, at Tesco and when i got home. So fingers crossed it will stay that way!

They also gave the car the once over and all is in perfect working order.
