kinda feels like it wheel spins but its not and doesn't happen all the time,is this normal?

its like pulling off in a fwd car in the wet with your foot down=bumpy judders. :ponder2:

spoke to mechanic and he said its comun on bugeyes and sliping the clutch will stop judder.

i was told it could be when the last time a new clutch was fitted that the flywheel wasnt sceamed or replaced

yes think thats the problem with mine, new clutch plate and old flywheel was left in, need to get it sorted again soon

Clutch Judder is common as you all said when the Fly wheel is not scimmed correctly but it can also become apparrent when the Clutch starts to go. Its basically an indication that the two surfaces are not contacting correctly.

some fly wheels you can sceam and some you cant.

im not sure of your leggy, it should be only 20-30 euro to sceam a flywheel but some lads dont as your have to send it off to an engineers and will taken afew hours

Scooby 555's mate did mine in the typeRA when I was doing the Clutch and it didn't have any Judder so give him a PM and I'm sure he'll give you his mates number. I'd say the legacy clutch is simular to that of the Impreza.
