car storage

For all those who have second cars/track cars etc... just wondering do you think there would be an interest for indoor parking/storage? I have a large secure indoor unit and also some outdoor yard space & was just trying to gauge the interest in something like this. What kind of price would someone be willing to pay? Monthly/Yearly? Also looking into transporting cars to and from track events e.g. if car breaks down & have no way to get it back. Do you think there would be much interest in this?

Really appreciate your points of view and any feedback!
Cheers,
Brian

You can store your time attack car at my house if you want. Brian

its probably not something i would be ready for at the moment! Wouldnt have a car i need to store unless i was goin on holiday or sumit!
Sayin that! It would be handy if there was something like this setup where i could take the car for a night / evening to do a bit of work out of the wind and rain! I dont have a garage / access to a garage at the min and im sure you know its a pain in the hole workin outside all the time!

Bound to be a few more lads in same kinda position who live in appartments or whatever

You'd have to think of the security and insurance aspect of it all. Think of the money thats been pumped into your own car alone Brian, if scumbags find out there is a lock up with a few cars in it then its bound to tried sooner or later. How many track cars are covered by insurance or have a Clifford fitted to them??

If there was a way of guaranteeing security then its an idea that could work out. Good luck with it.

seen something like this in england

you book a bay that comes with a 4 poster lift and all the tools needed to work on your car , once your finished you hand all the tools in and pay for your time in the bay , that might take off nicely

think you might not make a healthy enough return on just renting the space out for it to be worth your while , My father has a space rented for his motorhome and dont cost him 300 euro a year , insurance alone will take a fair few of them to break even ,

this would have been a great idea 10 years ago. when anybody with a few quid had a track car

the nurburgring do it and have garages just for people to store there cars for when they can get to the track but this cars are worth big money
