Anyone on here ever get a car transported to Germany?

If so who did you use or who would you recommend?

What kind of money are we talking ballpark?

Early days yet though but wanna have my ducks in a row. ...figure out costs etc.
Am I right in saying that VRT can be reclaimed on a car no matter where it's exported to. ..not just uk?
 
Garry I have a car being picked up in about an hour heading to Poland... I will see can I find out from them

Around 500euro is what he said in a Polish kind of way lol...

But I would definitely let the buyer organise it as Dave said... It's the buyers job... Not the sellers.

My car is on her way now, Should be in Poland hopefully Sunday

We sent this to Germany few weeks ago. Shame is right. All leaving.

Lads are moaning on this site about no clean cars to be got and there all been sold to Europe.0
 
Surely because lads won't pay clean car money for them Johnny?
 
Probably so Baz, I don't know how much faves prodrive went for but kenc type r was worth it IMO
 
Shower of gobshites is all I had onto me anyway, car wasn't even viewed once apart from the Polish guys.. Then again I'm glad that along with waisting my time on phone that I didn't end up waisting more of my time showing them the car aswell.

IMO I Think there is a big percentage of the calls you get are lads that are just out for the hunt and don't want the kill.
 
Imo the big problem in this country is lads expect good cars for peanuts as you and baz have said johnny which is a f##kin joke and all the good cats are then sent to europe where they're willing yo pay the asking price
 
Agreed, lads see asking prices of rough cars on donedeal that in the pictures look clean, automatically value all cars of the type in or around the same and expect to pay that price. Good clean cars are worth more than bad rough cars.

Also let buyer organise own transport!
 
imo irish lads play the recession card.

im fookin sick of hearing it tbh.

have another 2 cars there and besides light advertising in Ireland. My focus will be europe.

Way way less stress dealing with sh*t.
 
There only going to get more scarce and has to push the value up :dontknow:
