car trouble

Went out to day to do a bit of xmax shopping and as we were on the link road i pulled into the fast lane to overtake and there was no power there so i when back into the slow lane and she was popping and spluttering with no power.

Could this be coil pack?

It's been raining like crazy in Cork today. Did it happen after driving through a puddle maybe? Hopefully water didn't get into the intake?

My mechanic came out to me this morning and plugged he in and no codes came up,he said it could be a spark plug or water in the intake with all the rain we had.what do you lads think,and i just spotted the top of the rad is spilt

Have you checked the fuel pressure? Could be a pump when did it have its last fuel filter??

Not to sure as i only have the car a few weeks ,just drove to the shop about a half a kilometre away and it was not to bad on the way there and let her running ,but on the way back it was very lumpy on the way back.

In the next week or so she will be getting a full service and the alternator belt is slipping so I'll have that replaced and the rad needs welding on top

Coils are rarer issue on new age ones then people think.

Well lad's i picked up 4 2nd hand coil packs lastnight for 80e and they went in today and all is good shes driving mint :turbo:
