Gave it a go, first attempt, did my splitter, not bad results being honest, such easy stuff to manifulate.

Had to sand down the full splitter to make sure no bumps or holes due to stone chips,

let the wrap just fall over it first,

Then got it all tightened up

the vent in bottom of splitter was a bitch,

But eventually got it,

First half

Second half

Fully finni

Took a long time, but happy with my first time, i'll probably do it again out of a single piece but you really cant notice the join, spent an hour just lining up the 2 halves.

well done john!!!!
i'd paint it with a clear resin now to protect the vinyl and also give a glossy finish!!

I.m wondering about a high gloss finni vs. a matt finnish.?? what ye think??
My car dont shine very well, its the champaine sailver, so was thinking a matt finni would be better,
I just hope the carbon splitter suits the car.

cheers for the link
going to do bonnet vent and maybe spoiler

I got the 40x 120, but i'd advise as was advised to me to do it in a single piece, difficult to get the pattern exact. so 40 x 240 would do it. if your thinking of doing a splitter, this stuff came from uk and with me in 2 days,

Looks great, i think you should spray some clear coat on it, protect it from stone chips and look better wet look i think. More genuine. Looking forward to seeing it on the car.

Hmm, not sure about the carbon on silver, have it on the car and just not sure, need to tie it in with something, mayby scoop and front grille??

Scoop and grille and what about doing the headlights black on the inside? will tie in nicely and give it that evil stance. :icon_twisted:

Maybe get your wheels coloured an dark anthracite colour
Found a place here in aberdeen who powdercoat for £80, all 4 wheels, so antracite wheels may work.
Will get pics up after wk.

Do the grill, scoop and then go all out and do the roof!!! That would tie it in!
There is/was? a newer shape legacy in the club with the roof done like this and i thought it looked well.
