jonny :subaru:

Don't quote me on this but I've heard they take an age to get up to temperature so useless for the road. I'm sure someone who has used them will comment on this.

im gettin good reviews from all the stockists in irl and uk a lot of the wrc cars are using them and most of the planes are using them so i thought if its good nuff to stop planes they should be good nuff for me :shock2:

@ brian,

I'm sure there are different grades of pads you can get,
ie, road pads that are quiet and hard wearing, track pads that are noisey and dusty but savage when hot and maybe a nice happy middle one to!
I know a few lads running carbon larraine's and they are very happy with them!

As above, be advised, a track pad will be noisey, dusty and slow to get to useful temp,
Try get the middle of the road option and you'll be grand!

just got off the fone to loeb there highly recommended ha ha its just there is some many mixed reviews on brakes out there id like to try something different so any feedback on these would be much appreciated

My mate uses them on his trackcar (EvoIV). They are very good on track but i have no idea what they would be like for road use!

Swap your fluid out for some nice fresh Racing grade stuff,
I use mintex racing fluid but I'm sure any good brand named stuff would be grand!
Braided lines are a nice mod also, gives you a nice hard peddle, (starting to sound dirty for a minute there) :icon_biggrin:
Don't do any work on your braking system if you are not very confident of would you are doing, they are your brakes!!
Get a pro to do it if you aren't confident!

just ordered there now from murrary motorsport front and rear pads plus 1.5 litre of ap 5.1 fluid 280 quid for middle of road pads as you said dan cheers

hopefully be outbraking loeb now what you think sti brian ha ha

Hey Jonny,

Those pads i have never used but I have used Mintex,EBC,Ferodo.....etc

IMHO Ferodo are the best think they are called Ferodo DS2000 or something like that :ponder2:
There also more expensive

When i say the best, they are brilliant for Fast Road and quiet good for track use.

I would not drive on a public road with Competition brakes if i could avoid it ,
basically you would start your car in the morning , leave your drive , and the first junction you
need stop at ..................well ya wouldn't  it would really be a prob if someone walked out
infront of you etc.....

Now if you have a track car which is used for track only then ya go for it

Niall.

Opps too slow at typing

Jonny be sure to post up and let us know what you think of the pads
on road & track

Thanks,
Niall.
