Cars Seized in Cork

When I had my wrx scooby I was never stopped except for a checkpoint and the guard told me to get rid of exhaust because the decibels were too loud. How the f@&k would he know what decibels it was putting out. Alot of robocops out there

:multijump:

Cops are watching the likes of Donedeal etc etc and have a fair idea of whats going on, stupid ads like sti down as 1.6 easy insure, 1.4 civic with k20 running gear etc etc.
They have pulled civics in my locality and went straight for the spot on Block where it will say B16 or B18C etc etc and have taken cars over it, if you file it down it will look dodgy and be taken anyway.. best way around the civics is to rebuild your b16 wit b18 internals..
I think its the Hondas that are attracting the most of attention and certain age groups.
Im after having scoobies, evos, supras, and now have a 2003 m3 and i never get any hassle, only time i was getting a bit of attention when i was around 22 and had a scooby, but since ive clocked up a few years, thank god i dont get any hassle, but then again i am not in there faces every night driving around town or parked up with some other cars.
The cops will take note of a car that they see a good bit around.
If i had mods done, i definitly wouldnt be parked up or doing laps of a town.. easy target then

i be the same as that.. i dont drive around towns late at night.. looking for trouble tbh..

stay under the radar, and when you dont have issues in general with your "local garda", you tend to be safe from things like this.

they all know who makes trouble and they are on the top of the list :icon_hang:

Cork city is 1hr45m and hate going there been stopped a few times in the last few months, but i havent been doing anything wrong and everything is in order, never been asked any questions about the car, but they still give it the good old walk around checking everything LOL

i got stopped a fair few times in my last impreza and a few of the times the garda that stopped me said it was because they didn't know me or the car. Haven't been stopped in this one yet

true what you say man,the hondas attract serious attention.most young lads around here there first car with a little power seems to be a dohc civic.cops learn to know them and unfortunatly tar every one that drives them under the same brush.one little bollox passed up my house last night in vtec with his exaust broken in half and sparking along the road.

just saw this on twitter..

Gardai in Cork are planning to use new sound detectors to monitor excess noise on cars.....
