thats a well known soft engine and give head gasket trouble!!!!

Sound, Thinkin of just gettin a cheap runaround. and dont know much about them.
brillant car...the 1.7td... 
the irish vectra diesal is a heap of sh*t but the 1994 cavalier has an isuzu engine in it and i can say you cant kill them cos we had one at home and it didnt get 1 easy day of driving and all my brothers went thru it... water pump was the only thing that had a small leak and we didnt change it... after a couple of months it would eventully run out of water and it would boil and all we did was fill it up again and keep going for another couple of months and i couldnt tell half the driving that car got cos most of it was illegal and nuts all balls and no brains i am afraid...
