Looking for a centre section for my classic. Straight through preferred but would consider resonated one also. 2.5".

Cheers

I have both, a resonated one and a straight through(2.5", needs a flange welded on) here, but they're both for a newage.
Not sure if it would fit a classic?

Hi Clodex, it would fit but as far as I know, it would be 100 mm shorter. Thanks!

I've got an email saying that you tried to pm me but my inbox was full.

Just had a look at the aftermarket pipe and it's actually about 4" longer than the OEM one so might fit.
As I said, it just needs the flange welded on, it's there for it.

It's a 2.5" pipe than was designed to slide into a 3" pipe, hence why the flange needs to be welded on it.

I know it's not ideal but that option is there for you if you're stuck.

Thanks for the detailed info man but I'll try to get something that fits straight in. The pipe that is actually in the car was welded as well and that's the cause of the tractor noise now, big enough hole!

Thanks anyway!!

Loads on ebay, scoobyparts or scoobyworld sell new centre sections for cheap enough money????

Thanks Kieran, I'd say I will get the Hayward and Scott one from scoobyparts. Wanted to try here first though in case there was something available close to home
