How many in the last 20 years? How many premier crowns since the league started? And if you wanna go back in time, apart from a certain plane crash united would have reigned supreme in europe at least the whole 60's era

You were a great team and a great club, and 5 european cups is a great achievement, there's no arguing with that.. even if the 5th one wasnt deserved... :D :D

But you, like all liverpool fans (with the exception of a slight blip in 2005) are living 20 years ago because its all you have left to hold on to. At least AC Milan and Real Madrid are still great clubs...

Liverpool or any english club wouldnt even be playing in europe if it hadnt been for matt busbys endevor and forsight to ask the FA to allow his team to compete in it..trapsing all over europe on dodgy plains and trains and coming back on saturday to play league football lest all ye liverpool fans forget..talk about history? learn history first

didnt say anything about the way you won it keith i.e. on pens, I just meant they didnt deserve it, they were nowhere even close to the best team in europe when they won it
 
it was great winning on pennos tbh...fcuking pub was in uproar... honest review of the match..utd should of seen it off in the ifrst half they went for kill early..didnt chelsea got a lucky goal chnages everything and they came out in the second half and looked the more likely to win..it was about the closest game ive seen europe apart from the liverpool chelsea match.
I thought grant made 2 critical mistakes, first he thought he was going to get at brown with maloudas pace..malouda hasnt played much brown was and has been outstanding..most improved player in the premiership by a mile.
second and the ovibous one was Essien at righ back..one of the greats sacrificed at right back stupid.
Ferguson should made a chnage much earlier..but thats all history now people only remember the result

I mentioned this in another thread and it went unnoticed I think. Couldnt be more happier with the result. Although why United always make it hard for themselves is amazing. I couldnt sit still during the penalties and was sure it was all over after Ronaldo's miss.

As for everybody wanting Drogba in their team? Im certainly not one of them. Dont like the guy at all. I think he shows very little character and respect for opponents on the field.

United undefeated in this seasons Champions League so I think they are deserved winners.

Dont change a thing Fergie except for buying Berbatov and tell Ronaldo to stop saying its a "Dream" to play in La Liga!
 
:noway: Ronaldo has come out and said he wants to stay at UTD. For some reason the press don't want to hear it and they will keep going at him for the entire summer.

I for one didn't think he would play for utd again after what happened in the Portugal England game but Fergie got hold of him and kept him at the club. And thank god he did, he is our best player, we would never have won the league without him or the champions league. His goalscoring this season has been nothing short of amazing.

As for Berbetov, fk him he's a biatch. Class player but gets into strops and wanders around the pitch giving out. Class player but too old for the money they want. I hope Fergie buys Benzima this summer. He is class and young and worth the investment.
