Changing gearbox and diff oil 99 b4 legacy

Hi Lads,

Can you please tell me what grade of oil I need for the gearbox and diff and any hints before i change it?

GL5 75w90 its the same as the Impreza AFAIK :thumbsup:

I'd recommend Motul Gear 300! Its really good stuff.

Same oil for the diff :thumbsup:

I think its the same amount as the Impreza

3.5 litres for the Box
0.9 to 1.1 litres for the Diff

If doing it yourself you'll need a 13mm oil drain plug key for the diff and they can be seriously tight. Best to have it up on a ramp or better still ring Dave and ask him how much to get it done :thumbsup:
