I need to get the Foz mapped sometime in the next 10 days,
I'd like to give JGM a go, I'll have to nip over to the UK to hook up with Simon!
Does anyone know the cheapest way to get across and back?
Travel times are not a problem!
Thanx
Dan

was looking into the cheapest way across to the uk in april/may and found both stena and irish ferries to be twice the price of any of the ro-ro freight ferries , cheapest was from dublin to liverpool for small money but took 6 hours to cross ,

best way imo is spend the extra and travel on the stena HSS and be over in 99 minutes , worth every penny

The boat perhaps???????????????????????????????????????????????

O'Leary is charging a fortune these days for carry on Jeeps so can't see that being an option :snooty:

But if you travel first class, they give blow jobs

my friend is the super intendant in dublin port and he uses his discount for me any time booking and it works out cheaper if you take the 10 boat at night u get a 5 course mael and cabin then brekki in the morn off the boat around 5/6 am and miss all the traffic i could get u a price if ya want hes on hols till the 17th of this month tho

hahaha Brilliant Robbie

Book Stena Line with the "Plus" extra so you are away from the economy class peasants. You get a VIP lounge with complimentary snacks (tea, coffee, fry up breakfast, newspapers, more comfortable chairs, WiFi) Well worth it.

As above Irish Ferries do it as well its well worth the extra couple quid and the priority boarding is very handy too and you get off ahead of all the other traffic we use it every time we go over

Very good Sweetcakes
@ Alan, if you could get a price for me, that would be very cool!
I'll look into the other options mentioned above!

Thanx very much lads!

Dan

Norfolk line would be the cheapest dan. No luxury's on board like the others but I'm heading over in a weeks time with Irish ferries for 300 for three of us and the car for four days Norfolk line was only 150 . I wouldn't mind if I was travelling alone but the Missus and the liitle one are going so it's Irish ferries for us!!

have used norfolkline several times in the past there is a cinema full restraunt bar, seatings areas with tvs and cabins with tea/shower facilities and a small area for kids to play but it is mainly aimed at trucks and freight me and my family enjoyed our couple of trips and was far cheaper than any other ferry and im sure dan is looking to save a few bob at this stage lol..my 20cents worth anyway

Very cool lads,
Defo worth looking into!
UK trip is on the back burner for a while,
I'm looking closer to home at the minute, and will get in with Simon when he is over again in the next few months

Thanx again for the info

Dan
